The following pages contain information for homeowners on the different ways we can help you to keep your home safe, warm and in good repair.
Repairs to your home
If you are eligible we may also be able to help with small jobs through our small repairs service or by means of an essential repairs grant.
For owners aged at least 60, with sufficient equity in their homes, a flexible home improvement loan is available to help with bigger repairs and improvements.
We also offer a healthy homes grant to help people with long-term health conditions.
Energy efficiency and affordable heating
Information on energy efficiency and warmth grants available to Cherwell residents.
Oxfordshire Better Housing, Better Health offers free, impartial advice on keeping your home warm, plus may be able to help you access other grants and funding, such as ECO, HUG2 or GBIS.
Disabled adaptations
Disabled people sometimes need help accessing and using the facilities in their homes, and a Disabled Facilities Grant (DFG) may be available to help with the cost of adaptations.
