1.    Nomination papers may be obtained by downloading and printing a copy from https://www.electoralcommission.org.uk/guidance-candidates-parish-council-elections-england/nominations/completing-your-nomination-papers emailing elections@cherwell-dc.gov.uk or telephoning 01295 221534. Paper copies can be obtained from the offices of the Returning Officer, Bodicote House, Bodicote, Banbury, Oxon, OX15 4AA, Monday to Friday (excluding bank holidays) 9am to 5pm.

2.    Nomination papers must be delivered in person to the Returning Officer, Bodicote House, Bodicote, Banbury, Oxon, OX15 4AA on any day after the date of this notice, on Monday to Friday 10am to 4pm. (excluding bank holidays) but no later than 4pm on Friday 5 April 2024. Appointments can be made by email or telephone – democracy@cherwell-dc.gov.uk or 01295 221534

3.    If any election is contested the poll will take place on Thursday 2 May 2024.

4.    Applications to register to vote must reach the Electoral Registration Officer by 12 midnight on Tuesday 16 April 2024. Applications can be made online: https://www.gov.uk/register-to-vote

5.    Applications, amendments or cancellations of postal votes and amendments or cancellations of proxy votes must reach the Electoral Registration Officer at Bodicote House, Bodicote, Banbury, Oxon, OX15 4AA by 5 pm on Wednesday 17 April 2024. Applications can be made online: https://www.gov.uk/apply-postal-vote

6.    Applications for a Voter Authority Certificate or an Anonymous Elector’s Document valid for this election must reach the Electoral Registration Officer by 5pm on Wednesday 24 April 2024. Applications for a Voter Authority Certificate can be made online: https://www.gov.uk/apply-for-photo-id-voter-authority-certificate

7.    New applications to vote by proxy at this election must reach the Electoral Registration Officer at Bodicote House, Bodicote, Banbury, Oxon, OX15 4AA by 5 pm on Wednesday 24 April 2024. Some applications can be made online: https://www.gov.uk/apply-proxy-vote

8.    Applications to vote by emergency proxy at this election for permitted reasons that occurred after 5pm on Wednesday 17 April 2024 must reach the Electoral Registration Officer at Bodicote House, Bodicote, Banbury, Oxon, OX15 4AA by 5pm on Thursday 2 May 2024
