Health Routes in Heyford Park

Swiftly: Public Art & Healthy Living Trail at Heyford Park

Swiftly is a public art project by artist Kerry Lemon, funded by Cherwell District Council and Dorchester Living, bringing a series of bespoke artworks and a new Healthy Living walking trail to Heyford Park.

Across the site you’ll find ten artworks—eight circular disks and two sculptural pillars—each featuring hand‑drawn designs inspired by the area’s heritage and natural history. The colourful metal panels are also suitable for rubbings, so you can take home your own copy of the artwork using just paper and a crayon.

To explore the area, choose from two trail options:

  • Accessible Route – Follow the butterfly icon
  • General Route – Follow the swift icon (approx. 4.3 km)

Look out for the icons and directional arrows along the way to guide your walk. You can also follow the route using the Go Jauntly app.

Discover art, nature, and local history—one step at a time.
