The Cherwell District Council (Off-Street Parking Places) (Pioneer Square, Bicester) (Amendment) Order 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Cherwell District Council proposes, following consultation with the Police and with the consent of the Oxfordshire County Council, to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (“the Act”), and the Traffic Management Act 2004 and all Guideline Orders and Regulations made under the Traffic Management Act 2004, and all other enabling powers. The effect of the Order is to:
1. Bring the off-street parking place at Pioneer Square, Bicester within the regulatory provisions of the Cherwell District Council (Off Street Parking Places) (Banbury, Bicester and Kidlington) (No. 2) Order 2011 by the addition of this parking place to the Cherwell District Council (Off-Street Parking Places) (Banbury, Bicester and Kidlington) (No.2) Order 2011 and the annexation to that Order of Schedule 24 and Plan No.24 which prescribe
- the classes of vehicle able to use the parking place to be Private Cars, Motor Cycles, Scooters and Three-Wheeled Vehicles, Hackney Carriages and Private Hire Vehicles, Invalid Carriages/Disabled Persons’ Vehicles and Commercial Vehicles up to 2.5 tonnes unladen weight;
- the day and hours of operation to be all days, 24 hours per day
- the maximum period for which a vehicle may wait and the scale of charges to be:
