Regulation 10A Review
The Cherwell Local Plan Partial Review was adopted in 2020. Under Regulation 10A, a review of Local Plan policies is required five years after adoption.
The 2025 Regulation 10A Review (November 2025) concludes that all policies in the Partial Review remain broadly consistent with national policy and local circumstances.
The only exception is Policy PR12a, which requires updating to reflect a single housing land supply position for the district.
Cherwell District Council’s Executive approved the 2025 Regulation 10A Review of the Local Plan 2011–2031 Partial Review on 2 December 2025.
