Public Participation

What will happen at the meeting?

If your request to address the meeting is accepted, you will be able to speak for up to 5 minutes.

Presentations, handouts, drawings and photographs are not permitted, and Councillors are not allowed to ask questions of speakers.

If multiple requests are made to address a meeting on the same subject, for similar reasons, we may ask you to appoint a spokesperson on behalf of all people with similar views.

The Chairman of the relevant meeting will decide at which point in the meeting addresses will be made. It is likely that it will be at the start of the relevant agenda item.
