Financial support for energy efficiency upgrades
Businesses and organisations often struggle to pay for energy efficiency upgrades to cut energy bills and reduce carbon emissions. Energy Solutions Oxfordshire have put some information together to help get you started with finding financial support.
Funded energy efficiency support through the UK Community Renewal Fund is available for organisations and businesses in Oxfordshire.
The UK government has previously provided funding incentives to install renewable technologies, these were the Feed in Tariff (FiT) for electricity and Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI) for heat. These schemes worked by providing a fixed rate of return for every kWh of every renewable unit of energy produced. In March 2019 the FiT scheme closed to new applicants and the Non-Domestic RHI closed to new applicants in March 2021.
