Job opportunities at elections
Would you like to play your part in helping us to run elections in Cherwell in a role that’s important for your local community and a great way of earning some extra money? We would love to hear from you if you are interested in becoming involved.
Elections are usually held on the first Thursday in May each year. For 2024, polling day is Thursday 2 May.
Typical role duration an election are:
- Presiding officers
- Poll clerks
- Postal vote openers
- Verification and counting assistants
All roles are paid and training is provided.
