The forum is taking place on Thursday, 11 September from 6pm-8pm (arrival from 5:45pm) at the council chamber.

The Landlord Forum, hosted in partnership with the National Residential Landlords Association (NRLA), offers a valuable opportunity for anyone involved in the private rented sector to stay informed and connected. This event will cover key updates on local developments in Cherwell as well as recent changes in government policy and legislation affecting landlords.

With the Renters’ Rights Bill set to come into force, it’s more important than ever for landlords to understand their legal responsibilities. The new legislation introduces significant reforms that will impact how properties are let and managed. Failing to comply could lead to serious consequences, so staying informed is essential.

The forum will provide practical guidance, expert insights, and a chance to ask questions—helping landlords navigate the evolving landscape with confidence.

No registration required, please just turn up at the rear entrance/double wooden doors, opposite Shire Mobility, 39 Castle Quay, OX16 5FD.

Nearest parking is located at Castle Quay (South) OX16 5UN.

For our first event, we will not be operating a live feed but will be issuing presentation slides to those on the landlord mailing list.

Any questions, or to be added to the mailing list, please email tanya.constable@cherwell-dc.gov.uk
