MOT Testing at Thorpe Lane Depot, Banbury
We provide an impartial, unbiased MOT testing of vehicles for local residents, hackney, private hire vehicles and businesses, in addition to our own council fleet.
Opening times from 7:30am to 5:00pm, Monday to Friday. Last MOT booking time is at 4:00pm.
MOT customers have the flexibility to drop off and leave vehicles during the day minimising disruption to working patterns - the advantage of being close to Banbury town centre.

About the MOT
The MOT will be carried out at Thorpe Lane Depot in Banbury and takes approximately 50 minutes.
We currently test the following classes:
- Class IV - (Weight up to 3000kg) - Standard Cars, Light Vans and Motor Caravans - £52.00
- Class V - (Weight up to 5000kg) - Mini Buses over 12 Seats - £57.00
- Class VII - (Weight 3000kg - 3500kg) - Larger Vans - £57.00
Please note we do not take cash payments.
Re-tests
If the vehicle is retested within ten working days there will be no additional fee. Only one partial re-examination is permissible per full examination.
