This is a planning application submitted to the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government (MHCLG) by the Home Office. While Cherwell District Council (CDC) are required under the Urgent Crown Development Order to place this application for public examination on our planning register, and is also available to view in our Banbury office, CDC will not be making the decision for this application. The application will be determined by MHCLG in accordance with the Urgent Crown Development Order.
CDC are a consultee for this application; we will publish the report we submit to MHCLG before the closing date for comments to be received by all statutory bodies. This report will be on our website, under planning application reference number 26/01833/CROWN.

All comments must be sent to MHCLG via a dedicated email address, see below before midnight on 17 September 2026 or sent by post to (see address details below) and received before midnight on 17 September 2026.
