Oxford United Football Club is proposing to build a new stadium on land east of Frieze way in Kidlington and has applied to the council for planning permission.
There is a current consultation running until 26 July 2025, which has been publicised by site notices, press notices and on this page. This relates to an updated biodiversity metric and ecology response.This relates to an updated lighting assessment and ecology statement. Additional information has also been received in relation to financial sustainability.
Whilst the application had been scheduled for the 31 July 2025 planning committee, due to late matters arising, the council requires a further period of time to ensure the robust consideration of those matters and incorporate these into its officer recommendation report.
