Development Briefs
The adopted Cherwell Local Plan 2011 – 2031(Part 1) Partial Review, provides for Cherwell District’s share of Oxford’s unmet housing needs to 2031. It allocates six strategic housing sites and the policy for each of these sites requires the preparation of a comprehensive development brief.
The Development Briefs set out comprehensive site-specific development principles which address land use, character, layout, green infrastructure, movement, utilities, healthy place making and sustainable design.
Future planning applications for each of the allocated sites should be prepared in accordance with their respective development brief.
The following development briefs have been formally approved by the Council.
