How we use your information collected by the service
Your personal information will only be used to ensure the safety and wellbeing of individuals participating in leisure and sport activities, and will only be used in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulations. The Council may use your information for the purpose of marketing our own forthcoming events which will be relevant to you and for keeping you up to date with Leisure services via our newsletters.
We will not disclose your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes.
Who will have access to my personal data?
Your data will only be used by the Council and will not be shared with any other organisation without obtaining your consent. All personal data will be stored securely which will only be accessible by authorised users.
Where we have not directly gathered your personal data i.e., use of online booking companies such as Eventbrite, these providers have to keep your details secure and use them only to provide the service on our behalf. All data is securely destroyed within 12 months.
What information is processed?
Dependent upon the Leisure & Sport activity you have chosen the range of personal information processed about you will vary. This data can include sensitive personal data such as names, addresses, dates of birth, contact details, nationality, medical information and gender.
Retention period
The information provided will be retained for 12 months after which time the information will be securely destroyed.
