Homes and jobs are important to Bicester’s growth but so are opportunities for people to relax when the working day is over and whether it is shopping, sports or socialising, Bicester is a great place to spend leisure time.
Shoppers can choose from a range of independent shops and high street chains in the historic centre plus the new Kingsmere Retail Park which opened in the spring of 2020. For luxury buys, Bicester Village is a world famous shopping destination that attracts millions of visitors every year.
The annual Bicester Festival and Bicester Christmas Lights switch-on are key events in the town’s social calendar, whilst the state-of-the-art library, multiplex cinema, local pubs and restaurants provide residents with plenty of opportunities to spend their leisure time right on their doorsteps.
