Schools

Bicester has an excellent choice of nurseries, primary and secondary schools and a new technology college.

New schools have been built to serve the new communities at Elmsbrook and Kingsmere.

St Edburg’s Primary School, Kingsmere

St Edburg’s Primary School relocated from its previous site in Cemetery Road, Bicester, to its new location at the Kingsmere development. The school is now in a bespoke building that provides an outstanding setting for children to learn in and includes a light and spacious Nursery and Early Years unit. They have a full-size sports hall and superb outside sports facilities including a large sports field and a multi use games area. Within the school they have a media suite, a designated room for art and design projects and a very special gathering place called The Round where assemblies, prayer spaces, art exhibitions and music can take place. They have an excellent kitchen that provides hot meals cooked on site every day.
