Bicester - a community who cares

A community that cares

A key priority of garden towns is to deliver sociable, healthy neighbourhoods, giving residents a sense of belonging and ownership about where they live.

Bicester is no exception, with excellent facilities, good schools and community spirit evident in all areas of the town. Our partnership with Bicester Town Council and the many community organisations based here supports engagement with both existing and new residents in the town.

We place a huge amount of value on residents who give up their time to help benefit the community through volunteering. The Bicester Voluntary Forum meets to support groups with training and funding opportunities and an annual Sixth Form Volunteering Fair is held to connect young people with community groups who are working with residents in the community.
