If there’s more than one resident, the bill may still be reduced by 25 per cent if all the other residents are over the age of 18 and are a:
- Full-time student
- School leaver (this includes 18 to 19 year olds in full time education, recent school or college leavers, under 20 year olds and 18 year olds for whom child benefit is paid)
- Apprentice
- Youth trainee
- Resident in a hostel or nursing home
- Severely mentally impaired
- Member of a visiting force
