Elections on 3 May 2018
Elections took place in 15 district wards and 5 parishes on Thursday 3 May. The results can be found by clicking on the green button at the top of this page.

Adderbury Neighbourhood Plan Referendum
A neighbourhood plan referendum will be held in Adderbury on Thursday 21 June 2018.
The information statement gives details about the Neighbourhood Plan, where information is available to view within the village, and also includes a map showing the Neighbourhood Plan area.

Hours of Poll will be 7:00am to 10:00pm, and the polling station will be Adderbury Methodist Chapel, Church Lane.
Bicester West District Ward - re-arranged election
Following the sad death of Jolanta Lis in April 2018, the election for the Bicester West District Ward, that was due to be held on Thursday 3 May, was cancelled.
The poll will now be held on Thursday 21 June 2018. The other candidates who were standing for election for Bicester West will automatically be included in the new election.

Bicester Town Council Central Ward
Councillor Jolanta Lis also represented the Central Ward of Bicester Town Council. Requests have been received from 10 electors to hold an election to fill the vacancy.

If more than one nomination is received, polling day will be Thursday 21 June.
Fencott & Murcott and Shipton-on-Cherwell and Thrupp Parish
Elections will be held again for the parishes of Fencott & Murcott and Shipton-on-Cherwell & Thrupp, as there were not enough nominations for those parishes. The Notice of Election for each parish gives details of when and how nominations can be submitted.

Lists of candidates for each ward and parish will be available shortly after nominations close.
If you are not yet registered to vote, or you have moved/due to move, you have until midnight on Tuesday 5 June to register to be able to vote in these elections.
If you are already registered, but will be away on polling day, you can apply for a postal vote. Completed applications must be received by us no later than 5:00pm on Wednesday 6 June.
If you already have a postal vote, but you will be away when they are sent out, you can change the address your vote is sent to, or you can cancel it altogether. To change or cancel your postal vote, you must let us know in writing (letter or email) by 5pm on Wednesday 6 June, each person who wants to cancel a postal vote must cancel us individually.
If you are going to be away on polling day and don't want a postal vote, you can appoint a proxy (somebody who votes on your behalf) to vote in your usual polling station. Completed proxy applications must be received by us no later than 5:00pm on Wednesday 13 June. After this deadline, we will write to your proxy to confirm they have been appointed.
