Adderbury Parish Council
Following a recent resignation from Adderbury Parish Council, the Returning Officer has received requests from 10 electors for a by-election to be held to fill the vacancy.
The Notice of Poll has now been published.
The Notice of Election has now been published, which gives details of deadlines for Nomination Papers to be completed and submitted.
The deadline to submit nomination papers has now passed, and the Statement of Persons Nominated gives details of the candidates.
Polling day will be Thursday 21 February 2019, and voting will take place at Adderbury Methodist Church.
Poll cards have been sent out to all those electors already registered and eligible to vote in this by-election. If you live in Adderbury and are not yet registered to vote, it is now too late to do so for this election. The deadline was midnight on Tuesday 5 February. Those electors who registered before the deadline will receive a letter confirming they are eligible to vote.
It is now too late to apply for a postal vote, or change or cancel an existing postal vote. The deadline to do so was 5pm on Wednesday 6 February. The first batch of postal votes was sent out from our printer on Thursday 31 January. The second batch is due to be sent out around Wednesday 13 February.
It is now too late to apply for a proxy vote. The deadline to do so was 5pm on Wednesday 13 February.
Elections are due to take place in all District Wards, and in 24 parishes across the district on Thursday 2 May 2019.

- Lower Heyford
- Middleton Stoney
- South Newington
- Upper Heyford
- Heyford Park - brand new parish
