Planning Policy: Team Leader
Grade J: £52,380.50 to £55,756.50 per annum plus £10,000 market supplement, 37 hours per week, permanent.
Following an internal promotion, we need a new Team Leader to push forward work on our Local Plan Review in our Planning, Policy Conservation and Design team.
We have a 2015 Plan, a 2020 Partial Review and have recently consulted on an emerging draft Plan (Reg.18).
You will have the opportunity to help shape the proposed Plan and lead the policy team into Examination working with the Planning Policy, Conservation and Design Manager.

Principal Planning Policy Officers
We are recruiting to bolster our Planning, Policy Conservation and Design team to meet demand and improve the services we provide. We have two opportunities for people who want to get stuck into a key phase of plan making and make a difference.
Posts available from entry level to Principal.
Grade I: £45,245.50 to £50,046.00 per annum - 37 hours per week, permanent

We want those with the drive, ideas and team working ethic to work collegiately in developing our Local Plan and in addressing plan-making reforms.

Ecologist
Grade G: £35,647.00 to £40,446.50 per annum, 37 hours per week, permanent and agile working supported.
We are looking for an ecologist to work alongside our existing, highly regarded ecology officer. Together you will work within a new Urban Design, Conservation and Environment Team to ensure biodiversity is at the heart of our place making functions. You will help us meet our statutory Biodiversity Net Gain requirements and the wider biodiversity implications of the Environment Act 2021 and NERC Act 2006.
