National Stalking Helpline

Operated by the Suzy Lamplugh Trust, the National Stalking Helpline gives practical information, support, and advice on risk, safety planning and legislation to victims of stalking, their friends, family, and professionals working with victims. 

Advocacy

If you contact the National Stalking Helpline, you may be considered for advocacy. This means that an advocate will work with you to:

  • ensure the police investigate cases of stalking, collect evidence, and apply appropriate protection orders
  • risk assess your situation and put plans in place to keep you safe
  • represent your voice with the police, social services, housing or your employer
  • accompany you to court
  • link you in with other forms of support as needed
