High river levels in Cherwell

Rain and snowfall have led to higher river levels than normal in Cherwell district over a prolonged period of time -and much colder and potentially snowy weather is in the forecast for February

There are currently flood alerts in place in parts of the district, Residents are recommended to visit Oxfordshire County Council's flooding page for links to up to date information.

Detail provided includes a flooding toolkit giving advice to residents, business and landowners on how to prepare and respond to flooding. There is also information on the gritting operation.
