To celebrate older generations and the contribution they make to our communities there are free events running in Banbury and Bicester later this month.
Both events are FREE taster experiences of courses and sessions that run year-round. They will include Groove Aerobics Lite, arts and crafts, dance, and live music.
Also on offer will be health checks, electric blanket testing and tea and a range of information and advice from local service providers.
The Banbury event will be at the Cornhill Centre, from 10.30am to 4pm on Wednesday 9 October.
And the Bicester event will be at Studio2 (the former St Edburg’s School) from 9:30am to 3:00pm.
We’d be delighted to welcome you at either event. And if you’d like to tell an older relative of yours or bring them along, the more the merrier!
To host the two events, Cherwell District Council has teamed up with Oxfordshire County Council, Oxfordshire Age UK, the Royal Voluntary Service, Oxfordshire Fire and Rescue Service and, in Bicester, Bicester Green, OYAP trust and Activate Learning
