It is an opportunity to find out how to increase profits and productivity by improving workforce wellbeing.
The free event, on 6 September, at the John Paul II Centre in Bicester, welcomes businesses of all sizes, who are interested in discovering creative ways to improve the resilience, health, and wellbeing of their employees.
Councillor Andrew McHugh, lead member for health and wellbeing said: “This is a great opportunity to meet other local businesses and pick up some inspiring ideas about how to improve both the wellbeing of your workforce and the health of your business.”
Informed specialist speakers will be on hand to offer practical hints and advice to help enhance the resilience of both employees and employers, including Grant Hayward, Oxfordshire Workplace Wellbeing Network and Dan Knowles, chief executive, Oxfordshire MIND. Local Bicester businesses, BRITA and Spratt Endicott, will also be there to present case studies outlining their experiences of what has worked for them within the sphere of workplace wellbeing.
This Business Health Check event has been brought to Bicester by the Bicester Healthy New Town Programme, run by Cherwell District Council, Bicester Vision, and 2B’s Management Consultancy Limited.
A selection of local health and wellbeing suppliers, offering a range of bespoke, limited availability offers will also be there, including Wellness for Success, Yoga Being, Working Minds Matter and Any Time Fitness - Physical Activity.
