Banbury Canalside Public Consultation – Questionnaire

We are producing a Supplementary Planning Document for the regeneration of the Canalside site in Banbury and through a questionnaire we are seeking people’s views on how this can be achieved. The document will contain a masterplan framework, development principles and requirements for any future planning applications for the site, which is located between the railway station and town centre. The redevelopment of the site is important in achieving the vision for the wider town which includes the delivery of Castle Quay 2.

This is a long term plan that will involve collaboration between the Council, businesses, land owners and other organisations. The booklet provides further information including a map showing the location of the site.

Hard copies are also available to view at:

  • Cherwell District Council Offices, Bodicote House, Bodicote, OX15 4AA, 8:45am-5:15pm Monday to Friday
  • Banbury Link Point, 43 Castle Quay, Banbury, Oxfordshire, OX16 5UW, 8:45am (10:00am Wednesday) to 5:15pm Monday to Friday

We are encouraging completion of the questionnaire but alternatively will accept written comments. Comments should be sent:

The closing date is 28 February 2018.

Your comments will inform a draft of the Supplementary Planning Document which will be published for public consultation later in the year. Your details will be added to our mailing list.
