View a planning application
As part of ongoing improvements, Public Access will be replaced with a new online register. The new online register will also display details of Planning Applications, Building Control cases, Planning Appeals and Enforcement Complaints.
The new register will also offer improvements to make finding, viewing and tracking applications far simpler, you will also no longer be required to register or sign-in to track applications; just your name and email will be needed.
If you are a registered user on Public Access who has saved searches, or tracked applications, you will no longer receive these emails so it’s important that you recreate these in the new system to avoid missing out on any updates you may be interested in.
We anticipate the new system will be going live in next few months; we will update the page nearer the time to confirm dates and provide you with information on the improvements the new system will offer along with simple instructions to follow to help you get the most out of the new register.
Until the time of the changeover, you will continue to receive notifications of saved searches and need do nothing until we contact you with further advice about how to use the new system.
Before you begin you will need to know either the planning application number or address of the development. This information can usually be found on press notices, neighbour notification letters or on site notices erected at the development site.
You can also view details of historic planning applications and property history (since 1995), planning enforcement (since 2008) and planning appeals.
