£11,228.50 per annum raising to £18,328.50 after year 1 dependent on age
Demand on the housing options and allocations team is high and in this apprenticeship role you will support the teams to keep on top of the workload whilst also studying towards a Business Administrator (Level 3) Apprenticeship.
The housing allocations team allocates social housing in Cherwell. We assess thousands of applications to the housing register every year and allocate hundreds of homes. A key part of your role will be to help maintain the housing register, ensuring that records are accurate and up to date, amending and updating housing register applications in a timely way.
Alongside your day to day work you will attend a structured learning programme to gain a Level 3 Apprenticeship and you will transfer the knowledge and skills gained from the learning programme to the workplace.
We are seeking a person who is reliable, with a good attendance record at a previous work or education setting. You will have good IT skills to produce letters, emails and understand new IT systems. You will also need to have good communication skills to speak to members of the public and your colleagues in person, over the phone or by email. Above all you will need to demonstrate a commitment to develop your skills in the workplace and to study towards a new qualification. Relevant work experience is desirable not but essential.
