Planning policy

A statutory planning policy framework guides the future land use planning in Cherwell. This is an ongoing process with various plans and strategies being drafted, consulted upon and published regularly.  The Planning Policy Team maintains a consultation database of those people who are automatically notified about relevant planning policy consultations.  Please note that people who respond to consultations will be added to the database and that the Council is obliged to contact certain specific consultation bodies.

If you wish to be added to or removed from the database, please contact the Planning Policy Team on 01295 227985 or by email to
