What we do with your feedback
The Green Deal is a national scheme that enables you to take out a loan for energy saving improvements to your home or business, reducing the up front cost.
Green Deal logoThe loan is repaid over time through your electricity bill. The repayments remain with the property, so if you move home the loan will continue to be repaid by the next occupants (who will be benefiting from the improvements) and doesn't transfer to your new home.
Energy-saving improvements include:
- loft and cavity wall insulation
- internal and external solid wall insulation
- double glazing and secondary glazing
- renewable energy technologies - e.g. solar panels or heat pumps

The Eco Bicester Boiler Scheme
This scheme means if you own a home or rent privately and live in Bicester, you can get £300 off a replacement boiler.
