What we do with your feedback
The online application service allows you to submit a planning application via the Planning Portal.
Planning application submission - 1APP national application forms
Please note that we no longer provide site and block plans. Please use the Planning Portal link to the right of the page for information on companies who provide this service.
We only accept applications on the new national standard planning application forms (1APP).
We encourage online applications to be made using the Planning Portal online applications service.
Once you have registered with the Planning Portal you can:
- start a new planning application or
- work with an existing application.
The online application service also provides:
- information regarding the appeal process and
- a fee calculator
Alternatively, you can submit applications on paper. Paper copies of the 1APP forms are available by making your selection from 'more downloads' (right).
Please be aware that along with national requirements there are also a number of local requirements which need consideration in the processing of your application. It will help us to process your application efficiently if all the required information is provided on submission. Applications will only be valid if they are accompanied by these local requirements. It is essential that both the national and local requirements are met.

Please note that all information provided on the application form and accompanying documents will be published on our website apart from the contact details (telephone numbers and e-mail addresses) and signatures of those other business / organisational signatories.
