Propel Technology, a Fenny Compton, Warwickshire-based PR and marketing communications agency, is recruiting an Account Executive to join the team. (Full time: £16,000-£20,000) Our growing, friendly company, specialising in B2B communications for engineering and technology organisations and winner of the CIPR's 2013 Excellence Award for Outstanding Small Consultancy, works for companies in automotive, motorsport, heating and cooling technologies, and professional services.
We offer a complete 'virtual PR and marketing department,' predominantly to engineering and technology companies. We are not an 'arm's length' agency; our clients see us as an entrenched member of their company, which results in long term, trusting partnerships.
We do whatever it takes to transform our clients' situation, going far beyond the remit of a regular PR agency. We provide high level strategic advice and then design the plans via which to roll out our ideas. We've helped shape companies' new products and markets, developed the stories, promoted them through multi-channel communications, and even dealt with the resulting sales enquiries.
The Account Executive will have a PR agency background, ideally working within the B2B environment and with engineering or technology-related clients. They will thrive on diving into new sectors and rapidly becoming an expert in order to unearth the best media opportunities.
The successful candidate must be a good copywriter in order to draft press releases and articles and will be able to show examples of their written work. They will be able to create and pitch in stories and news angles for different technologies. They will be involved in delivering our multitude of client services including developing marketing collateral. They will be comfortable working in a small office and have strong organisational skills in order to manage a number of ongoing account tasks and ad hoc projects simultaneously as well as to adhere to client reporting processes.
The Account Executive will support the team with the day-to-day operations of three to four accounts and will assist other colleagues as required.
As a small, yet expanding, agency this is a great opportunity for the right person to grow with us. If interested, please email email@example.com
