Sainsbury's Bicester currently have vacancies for groceries online delivery drivers.

They are recruiting for 3 x 39 hour vacancies, 1 x 32 hour and 1 x 16 hour weekend vacancy.

Technical requirements for the role are:
• Applicants must be over 21;
• Applicants must possess a full UK driving licence for a minimum of 3 years;
• There must be no more than six points currently on the driving licence; and
• Applicants must not have been banned from driving for any reason within the last 10 years.

Drivers typically work a varied, flexible shift pattern based around a combination of early and late shifts, with early shifts starting at 7am and the latest finish time being 11pm. A minimum of an 11 hour gap is maintained between shifts. We are able to accommodate restrictions upon availability provided that candidates are able to offer their contracted hours plus an additional or alternative 50% hours availability i.e. for a 39 hour vacancy, applicants must be able to offer 59 hours availability across the week to reflect the varying shift patterns. Drivers typically receive a minimum of one weekend in four off.

Full training, including AA Drivetech driving training is provided.

North Oxfordshire Apprenticeship Fair

Busting the Myths about Apprenticeships

North Oxfordshire Academy, in partnership with Oxfordshire Apprenticeships and local schools, will be hosting an Apprenticeship Fair on Thursday 12th March from 6.30-8.30pm. The event takes place during National Apprenticeship Week and gives young people and their families the perfect opportunity to find out all about Apprenticeships and meet over 30 local businesses and training providers who offer them. They'll also get the chance to ask any questions of Apprenticeships experts and chat with Apprentices about their experiences.

There will be information on how to apply for apprenticeship vacancies available for anyone who's looking to start an apprenticeship, as well as general information for those wanting to find out more as they start to consider their career options.

The event also gives local businesses the opportunity to meet the local talent pool and showcase the opportunities they have to offer young people. With around 250 visitors expected, the event is a fantastic way to bring employers and future employees together.

Cherwell District Council and South Northamptonshire Council

We are seeking Election Staff. There will be Elections taking place on 07 May 2015 in both Cherwell and South Northamptonshire. We are therefore looking to recruit:

  • Presiding Officers - in the region of £195 per day. Previous experience is essential and you should ideally have been a Poll Clerk at least three times. You will be responsible for managing the polling station, briefing staff, dealing with enquiries and completing paperwork. At the close of poll you will be required to bring all items to an allocated drop off point.
  • Poll Clerks - in the region of £115 per full day / £57 per half day. You will be responsible for recording and issuing ballot papers as well assisting members of the public and opening / closing the polling station.

The hours of poll are 7am until 10pm; however election employees are expected to be at the polling station no later than 6.30am and will be required to remain until the station is fully closed and paperwork completed.

  • Count Assistant - in the region of £50 - £60 per session. Hours of work are 9.30pm until the completion of the count (approximately 4am). Previous experience would be an advantage but is not essential. You will be responsible for sorting and counting ballot papers under supervision.

For all roles you should have a polite and professional attitude, be confident that you can work to a high level of accuracy. It is vital you are able to act impartially and maintain the secret of the ballot and are not working for or on behalf of any candidate.

Attendance at a training session prior to the election is compulsory for all new Presiding Officers and Poll Clerks. Count Assistant training will be provided prior to commencement of the count.
