| | Sibfords historic village trail
An historic trail through and between the villages of Sibford Ferris and Sibford Gower.
The Sibfords are about 6 miles west of Banbury. Please note the walk is 2 miles/3.2 km. Direction 1 - the Bishop Blaize is no longer a pub and the car park cannot be used. Street parking is very limited at this location so please consider starting the walk at an alternative point in the village. Please park sensibly on village streets. Direction 3 - "Continue along the lane .........carry on down the hill and turn left at the main road". Direction 4 - second sentence should read "Head diagonally right across the field, cross a footbridge over the Ellywell spring and go through a kissing gate (D)." Direction 12 - third sentence should read "Go through a kissing gate, over the footbridge (which is the parish boundary) and through another kissing gate." Direction 13 - "Walk up the very steep slope of Oddie's field (Q) and through a kissing gate onto Woodway Road. Turn left." Direction 17 - "Cross the road .......... follow the road uphill and take the right fork." | |
