Arts grants

We have two grant funds available to support the development of arts opportunities in the district.

Grants for arts is a scheme intended for larger scale grant aid to professional arts organisations delivering a programme of work within the district that furthers our key themes and strategies. The deadline for applications is 1 March each year.

Arts awards are available up to £1,000 to support local groups and organisations to develop arts opportunities and are intended to strengthen the vibrant voluntary and amateur arts sector. Deadline for applications is 1 March and 1 September each year.

For more information on each scheme, see under "Downloads" to the right.

Further Information

Cherwell District Council subscribes to GRANTnet to allow residents of the district free access. The service has been devised to assist community and voluntary groups, sports and other clubs, schools, social enterprises and small businesses in identifying funding sources available for specific projects.

Please see the link located to the right of the page.  Once you have registered with GRANTnet, you will be e-mailed a password which will allow you to gain access. Having logged into the system, you must answer a few simple questions about your organisation and the project which you wish to undertake; GRANTnet will then provide an overview of all the schemes available.
