A liability order has been granted against you in the Magistrates' Court and bailiffs have been instructed to remove your goods and possessions if the outstanding council tax remains unpaid. You must now contact them urgently and make an arrangement to pay off the arrears.
The bailiffs can enter your property and remove goods to cover the value of the debt. They cannot break in but are allowed to open unlocked doors and go through open windows, usually having first informed the Police.
A list will be made of goods they intend to seize and you will usually be given the chance to pay the debt before the goods are taken. If the goods they list are not yours, you must prove they belong to someone else.
