Licence - house to house collections

You must obtain our permission before a house to house collection can take place.

What the service is for:

A completed application form must be submitted to us.  You can either apply on link by following the link or use the form in the downloadable section to the right of this page.

Application for a house to house collection licence

Once granted the applicant will be issued with two documents, one to be kept for use on the day and another to be sent to Her Majesty's Stationery Office (HMSO).  HMSO will then issue a formal badge for each collector to wear whilst collecting.

After the collection a statement of return must be made within one month to us detailing the amounts collected.  You can return this online by following the link below.

No fee is required for this type of permission.

How long will it take:

On completion of all paperwork, and where appropriate the consultation periods are complete, we aim to issue all licences within 10 working days.
